Hosting and delivery
This site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes the technical data your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect the site against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in a secure, working website.
Cloudflare acts as a processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), which is part of Cloudflare’s customer terms. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA rest on the European Commission’s adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); if that certification ever lapses, the EU standard contractual clauses in the same agreement apply (Art. 46 GDPR).
Visitor statistics
To see which pages are read, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script from Cloudflare measures page views, the referring site, the country, browser type and page load time. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you across sites or over time. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors’ personal data; your IP address is processed only to deliver the script. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in knowing which guides are useful.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. The Cloudflare bot protection features that would set a cookie are switched off.
Links to shops
When you click a link to a shop, including an affiliate link, you leave this site. The shop and, if one is involved, its affiliate network may then set cookies to record that you came from here. That happens on their site, under their privacy policy. This site does not receive personal data about you from them.
If you write an email, your address and message are used to answer you and kept only as long as that requires. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message concerns a contract.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Write to the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work or where the alleged infringement took place (Art. 77).
Visitors from the United States
This site does not sell or share personal information as defined by U.S. state privacy laws such as the CCPA, and it does not use targeted advertising.

This policy is updated when the site changes, for example when an affiliate program or another service is added. The date at the top shows the last check.
